What does the exported expenses file contain?

For persons with administrator role

This FAQ will help you understand the format and columns of the file you download when you have handled and exported the relevant expenses, whether you download it in Excel (XLSX) or CSV format.

Excel (XLSX) Format:

Column Headers:

  1. Transaction date
  2. Transaction type 
  3. Merchant name 
  4. Expense link: link to the expense in Cardlay Expense web application (requires that you are logged in to the web application).
  5. Comment
  6. Original currency
  7. Original amount 
  8. Currency
  9. Amount 
  10. Employee name
  11. Employee ID 
  12. Team ID: Only if the employee is a part of a team.
  13. Team name: Only if the employee is a part of a team.
  14. Card number
  15. Payment data 
  16. Category: The category to which the expense belongs.
  17. Expense account type
  18. Expense account
  19. Balance account
  20. Accounting VAT code
  21. Expense ID: The unique ID for the expense.
  22. Transaction ID: The unique ID for the transaction.
